For golf enthusiasts, Aurora Sol is ideally situated for easy access to three golf courses in the Lagos area - Penina, Palmares, and the recently opened Quinta Boavista. It is also situated only a few kilometres from the course at Parque de Floresta.

A further 25 golf courses throughout the Algarve are all easily accessible within a 90 minutes drive.

Lagos Marina lies 5,0 km. away. This facility is fully equipped to handle docking and chandling of ocean-going motor cruisers and sailing vessels.

It is one of largest along the Algarve Coast and often a first landfall for many sailing and motor vessels making transatlantic runs.
